Average Businessman…ActionCOACH Can Help Him Reach An Above Average Level
Chad’s Story
I’m just your average American guy.
I spend my leisure time playing golf, doing home improvements, watching football and gymnastic events with my wife Tracy, vacationing on Florida beaches and playing with my children Catelin and Chase.
I’d like to achieve financial security, have fun and enjoy life. I’d like to raise my children into great adults and I’d like to have a great family life. I’d also like to work less than 40 hours a week, so I can volunteer my time mentoring underprivileged kids.
Tracy, too, would like to have financial security and the ability to volunteer her time. She would like not to have to work full-time.
I see myself achieving these goals through building a successful, profitable business that can eventually run without me. That would enable us to retire early and to travel around the world. I’d like to be able to draw a passive income from my business, which will one day include divisions focused on remodeling, new homes, property management, and light to heavy commercial and restoration work.
I went into business originally because I wanted more opportunity than I was getting working for my father. I wanted to build a track record of satisfied customers and a strong referral base for my business – and a strong cashflow. So far, I have achieved the first, and am working on the second.
My immediate goal is to become more profitable. I’d also like to learn to delegate responsibility so that I can work less in the field and more on building the business. I’d like to provide a great work environment for my team and I’d like to achieve $700,000 in sales this year – this would take just 1 more house and a few more remodeling jobs.
I’m presently working 50 or 60 hours each week – my aim is to cut that down to 40 within the next 2 or 3 years. And I’d like to take home $100,000 a year, so Tracy can quit working. This is triple my present income.
My other main goals include creating a business that runs like a well-oiled machine, and developing systems to turn around estimates faster, to create job schedules, to keep team members motivated and working hard, to follow-up on jobs consistently and to maintain a high-quality customer service. And I’d like to achieve $2-million in sales next year.
