Brad Sugars’ Comment:Health Information Pharmacy (Pt. 3)
Brad Sugars Says …
Ken was one of the first potential coaching clients that actually interviewed ActionCOACH! He had all these other business consultant and coaching company proposals laid out in front of him and he said, “Tell me why ActionCOACH is different.”
During the alignment consultation, Ken shared his goals of wanting to make a difference in his profession and the community, of wanting to take these core values to help other pharmacists, not just locally, but globally.
After 3-months, Julia had started to leverage herself out of the business. After 6-months, she was totally out. After 12-months, Ken was also totally out although it took another 12-months to franchise the business.
The business outlook is great – the business sees itself as being very community-based and as a hub for community activities, especially in the health care arena. There is a naturopath in store. They also have strategic alliances with a chiropractor, massage therapist, gym, restaurant, real estate agent, financial planner and even holiday destinations.
The business culture is excellent. There is strong a culture within the business and externally as well. The pharmacy has been accepted quite well in the community, especially considering it was one of the first pharmacies to be accredited under quality care in Australia, with various press releases and articles being written about the work they are doing.
